Num Lock is a sentient being that turns itself off constantly

My num lock keeps turning off randomly for no reason.
I don't accidentally turn it off.
Also I have to turn it on every time I boot up the computer.
I do not EVER turn my num lock off.
Anyone have any answers?

It's a sentient being?! RUN FOR THE HILLS!
You might have the numlock setting in the BIOS set to not turn numlock on when you start your computer.
As for turning off itself, I have no idea.
